iSign is an Islamic sign language application for the Hearing Impaired community
iSign is an Islamic sign language glossary application for the Hearing Impaired (OKU) community to gain an understanding of Islamic education. This application covers the three pillars of Islam, namely faith, sharia and morality in the form of video sign language interpreters in explaining and elaborating religious terminology. This development is the result of expert agreement through several sign language development and validation workshops held and attended by a line of experts consisting of field experts, panel of assessors (Special Education Division), Mushi Hall, JAKIM Expert Panel, Deaf OKU Panel and in collaboration with the University Islamic Science Malaysia (USIM). The development of this application is expected to be able to be used widely in providing an opportunity for the deaf Muslim community to enjoy the benefits of religious life with a basic understanding in terms of the meaning of religious terminology more perfect.
