Isy

Isy was developed viewing a problem faced by the deaf. Imagining the cenary where the person is crossing the street and a car horn, the deaf can simply continue to the path, putting life at risk without even realize it.

Thinking about it, Isy is responsible for detecting the sound and make the phone vibrate, calling the attention of the user. Its operation is simple, it detects the sound volume, and if this volume is much higher than the volume sound captured at the last seconds, the cell phone will vibrate.

Why the name "Isy"?

Even if they cannot hear, the deaf have all the four senses to perceive the world, the vision being perhaps the main one. The main screen of the system draw circles of differente sizes and colors according to the sound, allowing them to "see" the sound.

The name "Isy" is a refference to the movie "Avatar" directed by James Cameron, where the natives Naav'i speak and repeat the phrase "I See You".
