Itchy's Alphabet Initial Lite

Itchy’s Alphabet Initial Sounds Game will give your child all the practice he/she needs to be able to identify the beginning sound of a word and connect it to the appropriate lowercase letter. Watch their spelling improve as they practice this very important early reading skill. Educational and fun!

In this app, children will

• see a picture of an object and four letters

• hear the word for the object

• choose the correct lowercase letter that matches the initial sound of the word

• receive positive encouragement from Itchy if they are correct

• receive encouragement from Itchy if they are incorrect

• hear the word repeated if they choose an incorrect letter

• have the option to choose up to 10 picture cues for each initial sound

• have the option to choose all 25 letters (x is not an initial sound) or any number of specific letters to practice

• receive their score and a final positive reinforcement upon completion
