iTPC Carabinieri

The iTPC application was created to make content of great cultural interest usable, even in English, on the currently most popular mobile devices.

iTPC represents an absolute novelty as it is possible to make its own contribution in the fight against crimes against cultural heritage and supports the investigative activity of the Carabinieri del Tutela Patrimonio Culturale, aimed at recovering lost works of art, guaranteeing the highest level of portability and dissemination to its telematic potential.

The application offers the following services:

1. Consult and download the research bulletins: the bulletins of the stolen works of art are publications, created by the TPC CC Command and published by the General Command of the Arma, which contain the most important works stolen over time. The bulletins represent a valid tool to counter the illicit trafficking of works of art.

This feature allows you to search for information on the works of art they contain.

2. Visual search: this visual search function allows the citizen to choose an image and to recognize, in real time, valuable stolen works of art, by comparing the images with those contained in a dedicated computer archive.

3. Creation of the Artwork Document (Object ID):

The Object ID is an "identity card" of the asset, kept by the rightful owner, which allows for an exhaustive description and photographs of cultural assets, proving to be essential in the event of theft, as it allows operating personnel to have access to objective elements for the identification of the asset.

4. Information: this feature allows you to easily acquire information on how to contact or reach the closest geo-located TPC office.
