As a personal trainer, my focus always was to help my clients achieve the physical goal that made them feel confident and happy. However, after doing that for over eight years, I started experiencing anxiety and panic attacks.
Before I realized what I was going through, fear determined my actions throughout the day. I continuously felt like gasping for air or felt afraid of slipping when I got out of the shower and felt anxious about driving the car. Yet as a boxing enthusiast, I became aware I felt no fear when working out.
After my ‘aha’-moment, I decided to learn more about fear and what influences our state of mind. I became fascinated by the power of the mind and thrived on understanding it thoroughly. What began as a psychological rollercoaster eventually made my life more fulfilling and joyful.
Looking back, I went through it in a surprisingly smooth way. I learned how to deal with anxiety and the fears I had. However, I’m well aware that many people struggle with anxiety and experience difficulty finding their balance in life. My goal is to share my experience and knowledge with people who struggle to find balance and guide them towards it in a structured way.
