* Do I need to create an account?

Nope. As of now, there are no accounts. All you have to do is launch the app, and your device acts as your "account". If you reinstall the app, your account is unfortunately reset. But no worries there, because jobs expire after 3 days and there isn't really a reason for a persistent account.
