JoyJar

JoyJar is a "virtual jar" where the user can put facts and memories (anything that makes the user happy and feel better) written on "virtual pieces of paper" as Pieces of Joy. Giving a short description of the Joy is required but attaching a picture is optional. When a Piece without picture is is picked the application shows a default JoyPic, which can be hidden if the user wants to see text only. The point of the application is that the user can pick from his Pieces anytime and seeing again the Pieces makes the user recall memories and feelings that gives him a better mood. A Piece of Joy can be a Moment or can be a Fact. A Fact is something permanent like an eternal truth, a nice quote or a special person in your life. A Moment is a sweet memory or an event. Since the picking simulates an accidentally pick from the Pieces the user can not choose a Piece directly but can pick only from Moments or Facts choosing the appropriate menu item. One default Piece of Joy gets inserted automatically after installation (text:" I have JoyJar on my phone!", pic: a smiley face holding a phone that has a Jar on the screen) and 250 more Pieces can be added by the user.
