Archis is a browser focused on privacy, media, and AI. Block ads and trackers, browse privately, download videos for offline viewing, and use AI-powered tools without requiring an account or subscription.

Privacy Protection

Privacy protection is available from the first launch.

Choose the level that works best for you:

• Off – No blocking

• Standard – Blocks ads, trackers, third-party cookies, and fingerprinting while maintaining compatibility with most websites

• Strict – Adds HTTPS-only browsing and automatically dismisses supported cookie banners and pop-ups

Three Browsing Modes

Separate your browsing with dedicated modes.

• Normal – Everyday browsing

• Private – Browsing history is not saved

• AI – A dedicated workspace for AI features

Each mode has its own tabs, wallpaper, and browsing data.

Video Downloads

Download videos from supported websites for offline viewing.

Features include:

• Support for video downloads, including supported HLS streams

• Built-in video player

• Playlist support

• Choose where downloads are stored

Built-in AI Tools

Archis includes several tools that work on your device without requiring an account.

• Summarize web pages

• Reader Mode

• Read pages aloud

• Translate pages

• Capture full-page screenshots

Connect Your Own AI

For more advanced AI features, you can connect your own OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini API key.

Once connected, you can ask Archis to perform browsing tasks in plain language or ask questions about the page you're viewing.

Your API key is stored securely on your device and is used only for your own requests. Archis does not proxy AI requests or require a subscription.

Optional On-Device AI

An optional on-device AI model can be downloaded to enable enhanced page summaries, page questions, and automatic tab grouping without using an external AI provider.

Nothing is downloaded unless you choose to install it.

Password Manager

Save passwords securely and fill them when needed.

• Protected by your device's biometrics or screen lock

• Secure autofill

Optional Sync

Sign in with Google to sync:

• Bookmarks

• Browsing history

Signing in is optional. Archis works fully without an account.
