About Flux Gate

Flux Gate is an LLM observability and AI cost monitoring tool for developers.

Built by Mujtaba Kamal, Flux Gate (often styled as FluxGate) focuses on fast, no‑proxy integration with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and compatible APIs. The main appeal is its real‑time cost breakdown by feature, model, and user, so teams can see where spend and latency come from without changing architecture. To introduce the core value, here are the features you will use most in the Flux Gate latest version.

  • Two-line SDK integration with no proxy or architecture changes required
  • Support for OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and OpenAI-compatible endpoints
  • Automatic context tagging to attribute spend by feature and user
  • Real-time dashboard with spend.today, p95 latency, errors, and throughput
  • Spend alerts, weekly digest emails, and Request Explorer with CSV export

No-proxy integration across major LLM providers

Flux Gate wraps existing OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini clients so teams can capture model, tokens, cost, and latency for every API request. The SDK uses a two-line setup and does not introduce a proxy, which keeps reliability and latency under your control. This design matters when production traffic is sensitive to extra network hops or when service-level goals depend on stable response times.

Because the tool supports any OpenAI‑compatible API, it fits projects that mix providers or switch models over time. If the team experiments with multiple chat or completion endpoints, the integration stays consistent and costs are tracked uniformly across providers. It helps users compare models fairly without juggling separate logging systems or manually reconciling token usage.

Real-time spend dashboard and performance metrics

The dashboard surfaces spend.today, cost breakdowns by feature, model, and user, plus requests per second, p95 latency, and errors. Flux Gate turns raw request data into practical views so you can spot top spend drivers and performance changes as they happen. When a spike appears, the breakdown shows whether a single feature, model upgrade, or specific user cohort caused it.

Time windows like 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day help users see trends rather than isolated numbers. For example, a tool usage feature might look cheap day to day but trend upward over 30 days due to increased adoption. With live requests/sec and p95 latency, teams can tie cost changes to throughput and performance, not just total tokens.

Automatic context tagging for feature and user attribution

Context tagging lets calls carry feature names and user identifiers automatically. Flux Gate associates each request with a feature, such as chat, tools, or batch jobs, and attributes spend back to the user or tenant. That saves teams from manually mapping costs later and makes stakeholder conversations more concrete.

In practice, this approach helps product owners evaluate unit economics per feature without hunting through logs. Over weekly or monthly windows, users can see which features trend expensive and which stay efficient. When a rollout introduces a new toolchain, context tagging keeps costs traceable across versions and cohorts.

Alerts, weekly digest, and Request Explorer

Spend alerts let users set daily or monthly thresholds and receive multi-channel notifications depending on plan, including Email, Telegram, or Slack. Flux Gate also sends a weekly digest summarizing last week’s spend, the biggest mover, and a projection for month-end. These updates cut manual monitoring time and keep finance or product leads informed.

The Request Explorer helps teams search and filter by user or feature, sort by cost, and inspect tokens, latency, and finish reasons when digging into a spike. CSV export is available on higher plans for deeper analysis in external tools. The Free plan includes a basic breakdown with a 7-day history, while Growth and Scale expand history windows and add exports. As an early-stage product in active development, some advanced capabilities are still coming soon; teams can mitigate this by starting with core tracking and enabling alerts for guardrails until features mature.

Flux Gate Pros & Cons

These points reflect hands-on use and the product’s current release stage. Flux Gate delivers fast, practical visibility while continuing to evolve its advanced tooling.

Pros
  • Minimal-code integration without proxies or architecture changes
  • Granular, real-time cost breakdowns by feature and user
  • Live performance metrics: requests/sec, p95 latency, errors
  • Spend alerts and weekly digest for proactive control
  • Supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and compatible APIs
Cons
  • Early-stage product; stability may vary
  • Some advanced features are plan-limited
  • Session and prompt logging still coming soon

Download Flux Gate

You can download the Flux Gate APK from APKPure to get the latest version and monitor real-time spend and performance metrics on the go. The download is a small package and should finish quickly on a stable connection. Installation is straightforward; after setup, users can sign in to view dashboards and receive notifications based on configured alerts.

Expect a lightweight install size, typically a few dozen megabytes at most, so storage impact stays modest. If alerts are important, allow notification permissions during installation. To start, download Flux Gate, open the dashboard, and check spend.today along with the cost breakdown by feature, model, and user. This quick look helps confirm your tracking is wired correctly before moving on to deeper analysis.
