Junailija

Junailija shows timely information about Finnish rail traffic to passengers. It allows you to find the departure times of trains on routes you use frequently. Junailija also shows you the departure track of the train and the services available on a long-distance train.

You can easily create a route by selecting the start and end station from a list, or letting the application find the station nearest to you. Junailija gives you a list of trains serving the route, and you can also view detailed information about any train.

Junailija uses the Digitraffic open data API published by the Finnish Transport Agency (Liikennevirasto), which provides timetables, actual times and estimates. Note that there may be technical breaks in the availability of the information, and any estimates are non-binding. Junailija cannot show routes that require one or more train changes, because this information is only available from the train operator. Similarly, ticket purchases and seat reservations can only be done through the operator.
