About Kalac Schools
Kalac Schools, a World class school offering both Nigerian and British Curricula
The school was established on Wednesday, 25 October 1996.
The brains behind the school were Chief Anthony Igere, Lady Doris Igere and Chief ICJ Adigwe.
The motivating factors then were the need to fill the highly competitive space created by admission challenge into Federal Government schools and the desire to produce highly motivated, confident and morally sound students.
The school started with a population of 24 students and 9 teachers at a temporary site – 180 Kirikiri Road, Olodi-Apapa, Lagos. We have moved to the permanent site situated at No 5, Abiola Oluwa Street, Trinity, Olodi-Apapa, Lagos.
The school can be accessed from either mile 2 end or from Ajegunle/Boundary. It is by Westminster bus-stop, en-route coconut. (very close to Trinity Police Station).
The school was approved by the Government in 1998 to present student for the junior secondary school certificate examination.
The West African Examination Council approved the school as examination centre for the May/June Senior School Certificate Examination on 18 Jan., 2001.
In the same year (2001), the school presented her first set of student for Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination. SSCE. (WAEC).
The school also presented students for NECO SSCE 2001. (National Examination Council).
The school was also accredited for NABTEB (National Business and Technical Examinations Board) examination in 2008.
