The Kebo app provides the boiler operator assistance

    • documentation of monitoring.

After entering the main chemical monitoring parameters is shown immediately whether chemically in the boiler, everything is in order and the requirements of the standard are met or where action is needed. If necessary countermeasures are proposed. The result will be sent upon request for documentation via email.

Boiler and feed water must be physically and chemically pretreated to reduce the one hand, the corrosion of the boiler and its auxiliary equipment, and on the other hand to avoid the formation of deposits in the pipes. Through both processes of heat transfer is considerably disturbed.

Already a 5 mm thick coating of boiler limestone (scale) can cause a fuel consumption of 40%. Layers of silicates, metal oxides and organic compounds have similar effects.

In steam generators with high heat fluxes such deposits are not only annoying, but also dangerous. The material under the coatings is locally overheated due to lack of cooling. This overload can eventually lead to the destruction of the pipe wall.

The majority of the system components of a water-steam circuit, such as boilers, heaters and pipes, consisting of mild steel. In addition, copper alloys are used for heat exchangers and condensers. All these materials are affected by corrosive water and steam.

In order to keep the formation and transport of corrosion products in a water-steam circuit as low as possible, our boiler water conditioning agent Kebo X was developed. Existing coverings are broken down slowly and gently with the use of X Kebo without disturbing the boiler operation.

For optimal protection of the boiler plant and the best conditioning of the feed water are the correct selection of the chemicals used and their optimally adjusted dosage of great importance. Therefore, the state of the boiler water and the boiler feed water is regularly measured and assessed by experts. This expertise is now being made for the first time in an app.
