Klauenprofi

The Klauenprofi app enables LKV member companies in Austria and Germany to quickly and easily document the hoof care of their cattle and to record further information about the animals.

Important features:

• current animal population

• Quick recording of the hoof care carried out

• Capability of recording appointments, notes and other parameters - such as: BCS, lameness scoring (or locomotion scoring according to Sprecher et al. 1977) and interclaw angle or claw position score

• Notifications when appointments are due

• Log of hoof care and other recordings

• simple graphical evaluations of claw health

• Reference book with images of claw findings (according to the ICAR Hoof Health Atlas) and explanations of further recording options

• Capture also possible without an internet connection

Thanks to the connection to the cattle data network (RDV), your entire animal population is available to you on a daily basis at any time. Various sorting and filtering options enable fast and efficient work. Once the documentation has been completed, you will find the recorded claw findings and other parameters in a clear log in the app as well as in the evaluations in the LKV Herdenmanager. The app makes it easier for you to analyze the documentation using clear graphics. In order not to miss any follow-up inspections or bandage removal, you can save notes and appointments for the animals, which you will be reminded of via notifications. After the animal population has been retrieved, the recording can also be carried out without an active internet connection. Only after the recording has been completed is an internet connection needed again to transmit the data to the RDV. The app also offers an ICAR-compatible reference work with images of all claw findings and Mortellaro stages.

With the Klauenprofi app you always have a practical tool for modern herd management in your pocket!

You will receive the login data (user name and password) from the LKV (state control association) responsible for you. Membership in an LKV that is part of the RDV partnership is a prerequisite for using the app!
