Kodi media center is an award-winning free and open source cross-platform software media player and entertainment hub designed specifically for home theater PCs. It features a 10-foot user interface optimized for living room use with remote control navigation. The software allows users to easily browse and access various types of digital media including videos, photos, podcasts, and music from multiple sources such as hard drives, optical discs, local networks, and the internet. While Kodi itself doesn't come with any pre-installed content, it supports third-party plugins for accessing freely available content from official providers. The platform offers two main interface skins: Estuary, the standard skin designed for speed and user-friendliness, and Estouchy, optimized for larger phones and tablets 5 inches and up.
