Seven Kriang Bible Books – with audio

This Kriang Scripture App uses the dialect of the Kriang language that is spoken in Sekong Province, Mueang Kaluem and Mueang Thataeng.  There are other Kriang dialects in other provinces, for instance in Champasak Province and Salavan Province.  It is possible that the Kriang people in those provinces also can understand the Kriang dialect used in this app.  The Kriang people call themselves and their language Kriang / Krieng or Ngkriang / Ngkrieng.  The Lao people often call the Kriang people and language Ngeq / Nge’ / Nge.

This Bible app in the Kriang language has both print and audio (which can be downloaded). The Kriang Bible app may be read and listened to.

The app consists of Genesis chapters 1-12 along with the books of Daniel, Luke, Acts, James, 1 Peter and 2 Peter.

Audio files for the Kriang Bible can be downloaded. When playing the audio, the app highlights the section of words being read.

People who are able to read Lao and speak Kriang can learn to read Kriang by following the highlighting and reading along.

Adjust the text size by using the aA feature to make the font larger or smaller. The background color can be chosen as white, cream or black.

Adjust the audio playback speed by selecting the 3 dots at the bottom right of the screen when the audio has been selected.
