[Main Features - Mobile App]

- Automatic blocking of harmful sites/harmful apps: 7 million databases provide blocking of harmful sites/harmful apps (service provided without separate settings after installing the app)

- Prevention of smartphone addiction: Provides smartphone usage data on children's phones

- Child phone management: Check the child’s visited sites and app usage time on the parent’s phone and manage by time zone (smartphone management function provided for up to 2 children)

- PC Internet time management: Manage the Internet usage time (by time zone and day of the week) of the PC accessing the Internet subscribed to at home.

- Sign up for ‘KT Internet Family Safety’ -> Download/install mobile app -> Log in with KT ID -> Add child (SMS authentication)

[Additional Features - PC]

- ‘KT Internet Family Safety’ includes mobile app functions and provides PC harmful substances/time management functions.

- Internet time management: Manage the Internet usage time subscribed to at home (set in ‘Family Safety Mobile App’ or kt.com)

- Internet harmful content blocking: Automatically blocks harmful sites accessed from the Internet at home

- Family safety S/W: Provides functions such as blocking games and pornographic videos on the PC. Download at kt.com.

- Eligible for use: Customers subscribed to the KT Internet rate plan can use it after signing up for the ‘KT Internet Family Safety’ additional service.

- How to sign up: To sign up for the ‘KT Internet Family Safety’ additional service, go to a KT agency/plaza/call center (dial 100).

1. Required access rights

# ‘Phone function’ permission: Used to verify phone number to distinguish subscribers

# ‘Contact’ permission: Required for registering Google Push service

# ‘Search for running apps’ permission: Essential for providing the ‘Check my phone usage’ function, check the list of apps on your child’s phone

*[KT Internet Family Safety] was developed to allow individual consent and setting of access rights for Android 6.0 or higher. If you are using a version lower than Android 6.0, please check whether the device manufacturer provides an operating system upgrade function and proceed with the upgrade. Additionally, even if the operating system is upgraded, the access permissions agreed to in the existing app do not change, so to reset the access permissions, you can reset them in the device settings menu.
