Some modern scholars have approached by defining poetry not as a type of literature but as a manifestation of the human imagination, which is the source of all creativity. In addition, poetry is also an outpouring of one's heart that brings other people into the state of his heart.

Figures of speech are usually inserted in poetry to make the poem more beautiful. The figure of speech also varies, one of which is sarcasm, namely direct satire with harshness.

The lines in poetry can be in any shape (circular, zig zag, etc.). This is one way for the author to show his thoughts. Most active poets today, whether beginners or not, are more concerned with style and not with the subject matter of the poem. They are reluctant or do not want to see the initial rules of the poem.

So, poetry should be an art that has feelings when chanting and harmonizing it, so that listeners can feel the emotions and imagine the meaning of the poem.
