Al Hafizd Ibn Rajab is a Salaf scholar who is reliable in various disciplines, be it faith, jurisprudence, morals, or hadith. His famous works are Syarh Ilal At-Tirmidhi, Jami' Al Ulum wal Hikam, Al Qawa'id Al Fiqhiyyah, Fadhlu Ilmi As-Salaf ala Al Khalaf, and others.

Al Hafizh Ibn Hajar commented, "Ibn Rajab listened a lot and kept himself busy with knowledge until he became proficient and had many teachers. In fact, he spawned many scholars."

This collection of writings by Ibn Rajab discusses a lot about the condition of the heart, the obligation to purify and soften the soul, in order to reach the position of shiddiqin and Allah's saints, and also to reach the highest position of faith, namely Al Ihsan; worship Allah as if seeing Him. That is what perfect faith really is, and few people can achieve it.

The method used is a moral approach that has been factually tested. He compiled them through realistic and continuous testing, having applied them in advising, teaching and communicating with others. So that it can be said that almost all of his writings are presented and packaged in beautiful expressions and use heart-to-heart communication.
