Kuvakom

Kuvakom is an application that allows you to easily use images for various communication situations.

The app contains 1000 images of subjects depicting Finnish everyday life, society and asylum. Images are divided into different categories and can be searched by keywords. You can supplement the pictures by drawing or adding text to them. You can also import your own images into the application and combine them with other images.

Images in the application are also available for free from the Papunet Image Bank.

The Kuvakom application has been developed by the Kuvako project managed by the University of Applied Sciences. The project is funded by EUSA (European Union Home Funds). The project partners are the Finnish Association for the Developmental Disabilities, XAMK Southeast Finland University of Applied Sciences and Pohjois-Savo College.
