LanternVault supports both 2014 and 2024 Fifth Edition rules. Choose the ruleset that fits your campaign and switch when needed while preserving compatible campaign data.

Generate complete shops

Create shops using settlement size, local wealth, shop type, magic availability, campaign sources, pricing controls, and Party-aware options.

LanternVault includes dozens of specialized shop profiles covering everyday merchants, craftspeople, healers, taverns, guild services, magical dealers, unusual specialists, and more.

Generated shops can include appropriate inventory, services, pricing, and a generated shopkeeper ready to use at the table.

Generate treasure

Create treasure for individual creatures, encounter rewards, hoards, and custom situations.

LanternVault supports coins, valuables, gems, art objects, magic items, source-aware results, and both 2014 and 2024 treasure workflows.

Replay information allows generated results to be reproduced when needed.

Create NPCs

Generate NPCs and shopkeepers with names, ancestry, physical details, personality, role, and other ready-to-use characteristics.

NPC generation supports a broad range of ancestries and campaign options, including LanternVault Original content.

Build traps

Generate authored, game-ready traps with coherent triggers, effects, countermeasures, difficulty, environment, and threat level.

Trap mechanics adapt to the selected 2014 or 2024 ruleset, with optional Party-aware guidance.

Search and filter by useful game information such as name, rarity, source, availability, and other supported properties without stopping the session to dig through notes.

Save your campaign resources

Keep generated shops, treasure, NPCs, and traps in the Vault for later use. Saved material remains available when characters return to a location or an old encounter suddenly matters again.

Party profiles let you record the active adventuring group and support Party-aware generation where applicable.

Use what you need

Each generator includes daily usage before a permanent unlock is required. Individual generators can be unlocked separately, or all supported generators can be permanently unlocked together. LanternVault does not use subscriptions or advertising.
