The Basic Academic Potential Test (TPDA) which is often known as the Basic Academic Ability Test (TKDA) is a test that measures individual cognitive abilities which are administered online in Indonesia which are necessary for someone to be able to complete studies in a higher education environment.

This test consists of verbal, numerical, and figural sections in 8 subtests with a total of 160 questions. The verbal test consists of Analogy, Logical Reasoning, and Analytical Reasoning. Numerical tests consist of Arithmetic, Number Series, and Word Problems. The figural test consists of Figure Analysis and Synthesis and Spatial Reasoning. Scores reported in CEEB standards range from 200-800 with an average score of 500.

Numerical: the ability to think and analyze using quantitative concepts (counting concepts)

Figural: the ability to think and analyze using the concept of an image. symbols, and diagrams
