The aim of LavoraMI is to make travelling (for commuters or public transport users) easier and more informed, both before and during the journey.

LavoraMI shows all the works currently underway in the Milan metropolitan area, including details of any diversions, suspended services, relocated stops and closed metro stations. It keeps travellers informed even if there is a strike that week, providing users with three key pieces of information:

· GUARANTEED SERVICE TIMES (If applicable, when they start and finish).

· COMPANIES PARTICIPATING IN THE STRIKE (No need to visit each company’s website – they’re all listed at a glance!)

· STRIKE DATES.

Why is LavoraMi useful?

LavoraMi can be useful for those who need to travel daily from the suburbs (such as the town of Vittuone) into the centre of Milan for work or other reasons. On LavoraMi, you can view maintenance works currently underway or scheduled in the Milan metropolitan area, with filters based on transport type (BUS, TRAM, METRO) or the responsible company, along with a progress bar showing the current status of the works (calculated using the start date and scheduled

end date of the works) and consequently the road closure.
