Layout Inspector

1. Layout Inspector is a tool for debugging and analyzing Android application interface layouts, which can display the hierarchy, properties, and performance data of views or Compose components in real time. Its main values include:

Problem localization: Check layout nesting depth, property errors, or rendering exceptions.

Performance optimization: Identify overdrawing, over-recomposition (Compose), or redundant views.

Design verification: Compare deviations between design drafts and actual layouts.

2. Operation process:

Device boots normally and runs.

Start Layout Inspector, allow Layout Inspector to obtain accessibility permissions and floating window permissions.

Click the floating window on the screen and select layout analysis:

1 Layout range analysis

2 Layout hierarchy analysis

Click on views in the generated drawing grid to view control information: id; layout; width and height; text, etc.

View the hierarchy of controls in the entire screen position in the layout hierarchy

Permission Statement:

1. Implementation through Google Accessibility API:

Capture the screen control tree structure in real time;

Highlight the UI elements operated by the user;

Generate interface layout analysis report (for developers to debug).

User active authorization: For the first use, you need to enter the system to set the accessibility service permissions of this application manually;
