1> What is "LED Flash Alert - Call, SMS and Notifications"?

Flash Alert alerts you by flashing your camera flash when there is an incoming call or notification. This is a common feature among iPhone users, but most Android phone lack this feature. But now you can get the same flash alert feature on your device using this cool flash alert app. So, install the app and enjoy!

2> Why use LED Flash Alert?

Do you miss your calls or notifications when you phone is in vibration mode?

Do you miss calls or messages in place where there is loud music because you couldn't hear the ringtone?

Well, not anymore! Flash Alert will alert you by blink your device's flash during an incoming call or notification. Since the flash light is very bright you will never miss your calls. "LED Flash Alert - Call, SMS and Notifications" can also help to find your phone in darkness.

3> What permissions are used in LED Flash Alert and why?

a> android.permission.CAMERA

Why? This permission is required by the app to gain access to the camera's LED flash for blinking.

Is it required? YES. If this permission is revoked(by Android 6+ users), the app will not work.

b> android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE

Why? This permission is required by the app to know whether there is an incoming call, and if there is one then the app starts blinking the phone's LED flash.

Is it required? YES. If this permission is revoked(by Android 6+ users), the app will not work.

c> android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

Why? This permission is required by the app to restart itself on device reboot.

Marshmallow(6.0) or Above Users

If you are using android 6.0 or above, you will have to EXPLICITLY GRANT android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE and android.permission.CAMERA to the app when starting the app(If asked). If this is not done, the app will not work. If you have accidentally revoked permission, you can go to the Settings->Application(your phone's settings), select "LED Flash Alert", select "Permissions" and finally grant both permissions to the app.

Finally, please give a 5 start rating for this. If there is any problem or issues, please email us before giving negative feedback. We will come up with a solution!

Note: LED Flash Alert may not work on all devices. Use the "Test Flash" button to test before enabling Flash Alerts.
