Little Timer: Hatch Countdown

A super simple, ad-free visual timer for kids — with an egg that hatches a surprise animal when time is up.

Little Timer turns "two more minutes" into something your child can actually see. Set the timer, watch the egg crack as the time runs down, and finish with a happy tune and a surprise animal friend. No commercials. No scary buzzers.

Free to download, with no ads and no subscription — ever. A single one-time purchase unlocks all 24 animal friends, all 14 background worlds, and every music and alarm sound.

Six years on the App Store, over 850,000 downloads, and used every day by parents, teachers, and occupational therapists — now on Android for the first time.

WHAT LITTLE TIMER HELPS WITH

- Sharing toys and taking turns

- Time outs and calm-down moments

HOW IT WORKS

- Set the minutes and seconds — big, clear numbers, no reading required.

- Your child watches the countdown tick away around a cracking egg.

- When time is up, the egg hatches into an animated animal friend.

- A cheerful tune plays instead of a harsh alarm, so finishing feels like a win.

BUILT WITH NEURODIVERGENT KIDS IN MIND

Visual timers are a well-loved tool for children with ADHD, autism, and other executive-function differences. Seeing time pass — rather than being told about it — takes the surprise out of transitions and makes "how much longer?" answerable without a clock. Parents, teachers, and therapists use Little Timer at home, in the classroom, and in sessions.

LITTLE TIMER IS MADE FOR YOU IF...

- Your child is a toddler, preschooler, or early reader

- Transitions and endings are hard in your house

- Your child has ADHD, autism, or is neurodivergent

- Your child learns best by seeing, not reading

- Kitchen timers and phone alarms set off more meltdowns than they solve

WHY FAMILIES LOVE IT

- No ads and no third-party links — ever

- No account and no login; your timers and photos stay on your device

- Works completely offline, in the car or on a plane

- Simple enough for a two-year-old to run on their own

- Designed for phones and tablets alike

Set a timer, and see what hatches.
