Managed by the National Transport Authority (NTA), the Rural Transport Programme operates under the brand name 'Local Link'.
The key priorities of the Programme include addressing rural social exclusion and the integration of rural transport services with other public transport services. The Local Link Driver App will assist with scheduling, vehicle and accessibility management, the boarding of passengers and the receipting of fares.
