Location Master is a free Android application that provides a range of functionality related to geolocation. Specifically, the application provides real-time information on a user's current location, including latitude, longitude, altitude, accuracy, and address. Users can also mark and save location data locally, which can then be viewed on Google Maps, shared, copied, edited, and exported. The data can be exported in two formats, namely GPX and KML. Additionally, users can search for and save any other location or place with all the aforementioned functionalities.

One of the most significant features of the Location Master app is its ability to record a user's track or route. This function allows the application to record a user's movements while traveling, even when the mobile screen is turned off, and even if the application is closed. Once the user has completed their journey, they can save the track along with a title/description, length of the track (which is automatically calculated), and the date and time. Later, users can view their tracks on Google Maps, edit them, share them, and export them in GPX as well as KML format. The track recording feature also allows users to pause and resume tracking at any time. Moreover, users can manually digitize a route or track on Google Maps and perform all of the aforementioned functions.

So, to get user current location & record user track the app needs Location permission. Therefore, users are prompted to grant permission for location access. The location data is exclusively utilized for calculating user location (Point of Interest) or recording user track and is not shared with any third party.
