Designed by physicists to record (log) accelerometer data in a text file and allow easy upload. Great for science experiments! On a Moto X4 the average data rate is 200 Hz with small variation. It keeps running in the background and with the phone "sleeping". Recording stops automatically when the battery level drops below 5 %. The data format is:

nanoseconds since start, x m/s^2, y m/s^2, z m/s^2
