Lorraine App controls devices designed and manufactured by Lorraine Internet of Things (IoT) Incorporated.

StarApple is the first device released by Lorraine IoT. StarApple is a Smart Tap Light Controller. Yes it is a Tap controlled light with dimming capability. the Tap control is not in the App but in the device itself. The App is very integrated to the functionality of the Smart Tap Light Controller.

The App can set how fast the light changes when dimming and turning ON or OFF. This will give a comfortable feeling on the eye when controlling light intensity. Of course the App can change the intensity of the light.

The App manages the different Lorraine IoT devices connected to the Wifi network. At first installation of the the device, you need to join the device to your Wifi network using this App. It is intuitive process and you need to do this only once at the time of the installation.

The App can also change the name of the device as you wish.

The device will remember the light intensity settings you set in the App just in case if there is power failure.

The App will also display the status of the device such as if there is safety issue in your light power system. If the device detected a big power current that is not safe to your electrical system, then the App will tell you that the device had shutdown so that you can correct the situation.
