LoveStamp is an engagement application for merchants to say thanks (LoveStamp.io) to their customers and fans (together “fans’). Fans download the application, open and present the stamp screen to merchants. Merchants make use of a 3D printed stamp with 5 fingerprints and physically stamp the phone. The fingerprints are unique and identify the merchant. Fans are rewarded with points, called “bits” on LoveStamp.

LoveStamp records the amount of “bits” given to a particular fan and ranks that fan amongst all fans on LoveStamp. This is displayed via a progress bar around the profile picture of the fan. The interaction is displayed on the LoveStamp map via a LoveStamp innovation, called intensity circles. The more a fan gets stamped, the yellower the marker footprint (identifying the location of the Merchant) gets (favorite). The more a fan’s friend gets stamped, the bluer the marker footprint (friend referral). The more a merchant stamps, the redder the footprint (strength of merchant interaction).

Currently “bits” received on LoveStamp is used as a gamified measure of interaction but can also be used via ChangeTip.com to tip charities, digital content providers etc. In future versions, LoveStamp plans to allow “bits” to be used for gift cards in store, thus being more beneficial to Fans.
