With LutzoDex the morphological identification of sand flies (Diptera: Phlebotominae) became easier. This App runs away from traditional dichotomies and presents up to seven choices of answers to a question. There are images that aid in the observation of structures for all steps. With each question, the number of possible species is presented and what would they be. At any time, you can access the questions answered and correct any steps if you need to. In the list of possible species, information on the descriptors, geographical distribution and medical importance of the species can be accessed. LutzoDex, per hour, only includes species registered in Brazil.
