LyricSearch

Lyric Search is an application in which a user can query a song using some parts of the lyrics or keywords. The user may have heard of the lyrics while listening a song. He or she can utter the lyrics or keywords using regular speech. The app uses Google's voice recognition software to recognize the keywords or lyrics and it determines the song title and the name of the artist or the group along with a link to the song on YouTube. The application also features text based regular searching along with voice recognition.

You don't need to hum the song as in Shazam. Simply talk in plain English.

Here is an example:

Utter the sentence "We will rock you". The app returns a list of songs containing this phrase:

1- Simple Minds - East at Easter

2 - Queen - We Will Rock You

3 - Viper - We Will Rock You
