M3DMIX

M3DMIX is an application created to view 3D models of CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound images.

It makes use of Virtual and Augmented Realities to facilitate communication between doctors and patients. It helps patients better understand the information contained in their imaging studies.

It also serves to exchange information between health professionals, professors and students, an excellent tool for academic use and to aid in the discussion of cases.

In Virtual Reality mode, the application allows you to rotate, zoom in and move the 3D models of your exams. When in Augmented Reality mode, it combines 3D models with the real environment or even with printed biomodels.

Functionalities

- switch between views in Virtual and Augmented Reality;

- move, rotate and zoom the 3D models;

- change colors and transparency of different parts of models;

- take pictures of views;

- share projects;

- use VR and AR mode with cardboard glasses;

- perform streaming to present a case to other people using M3DMix by sharing screen and audio.

IMPORTANT! This application is not intended for diagnosis, its purpose is only to facilitate the visualization of 3D models obtained from tomographic images.
