Ma'rifatullah

The Prophetic Hadith above asserts that makrifatullah is a necessity for a religious servant, embracing and choosing Islam as his way of life. Why should? Because makrifat is the first door in religion.

By means of God, people can know God, know Him, approach Him and give up everything just for Him.

This is total Islam (kaffah), that "my prayer, my worship, my life and death, all because of Allah".

To be sure, makrifatullah is a necessity for religious people.

Religion but not knowing God, means not being religious, because it may be wrong to choose and practice religious teachings.

So, know God first, then you will understand the religion that he pleases, that is Islam.
