Ma3looma

The Ma3looma app is an extension of the Ma3looma website, question-and-answer service and Facebook page. Ma3looma is the first Arabic-speaking website on sexual and reproductive health to come out of Egypt. The website and the Facebook page offer you information and personalised advice on family planning, gender, sexuality and women’s rights. Counsellors personally respond your questions coming via SMS, Facebook or the website.

The Ma3looma app offers a library of frequently asked questions, based on the questions that Ma3looma counselors respond to every month. You can browse these or ask your question directly through a messenger interface that connects you directly to the Ma3looma counselors, who offer advise on all issues relating to sexual and reproductive health and rights.

To find appropriate health services, a map of youth-friendly centres across Egypt allows you to search, rate and comment on your experience with the service. Thereby you and others can evaluate whether a service is appropriate and it encourages health services to improve their offering.
