Used in combination with the wireless vibration sensor CAC100800, the ACOEM Machine Defender app helps mechanics to collect vibration data wirelessly and detect faults automatically with the ACOEM Accurex artificial intelligence engine.

It is now possible to assess automatically the health of industrial rotating assets and detect faults on various components such as: electric motors, pumps, fans, compressors, gearboxes and more.

The vibration measurement settings are automatically defined based on a visual description of the machine kinematics in the field on the mobile device. The user is guided step by step through the whole vibration measurement process, and the ACOEM Accurex automatic diagnostic is performed instantly right in front of the rotating machine and without prior learning phase needed.

It provides automatic diagnostic capabilities with overall machinery health assessment, list of faults detected with severity, location on the machine and confidence level, and first level of maintenance recommendation. The following types of defects are managed: bearing or lubrication problem, unbalance, misalignment, structural resonance, pump cavitation, gear defects, shocks or modulation resulting from electrical defects or looseness, other ISO failures such as belt wear, soft foot, nearby disturbance, and more.

Results and reports can easily be stored in the app and communicated through native features of the mobile device. It can also be connected to the ai.acoem.com cloud platform, centralizing vibration diagnostics reports, laser alignment reports, data trending and maintenance tasks management.
