Maps & Compass

Map with compass for orientation and navigation that includes an SOS flashlight.

This application allows the user to navigate on a map, includes a compass to make it easier for the user to know their current orientation and location. Additionally, the user's address and geographic coordinates are provided. To obtain correct readings, the app measures the roll and pitch so that the user correctly levels the compass. Additionally, the app has a flashlight feature, which can be set to send an SOS signal. For the compass to work properly, your device must have accelerometer and gyroscope sensors.

Help

Send an SOS signal.

1. Press SOS button, and

2. Press the flashlight icon.

Calibration

1.- Move the smartphone in a figure 8 path.

2.- Continue doing until the blue calibration symbol disappears.
