Marriage Prayer Difficulties

O glorious Saint Helena, you who, through a vision in a dream, discovered the Cross of Our Lord, the Sacred Crown of thorns and the sacred nails with which her tormentors nailed her hands and feet to the wood.

You gave a carnation to your son, Constantine, one you threw into the sea to calm the storm that threatened to sink the boat you were taking to Santa Cruz, and you kept the third.

Saint Helena, I, (So-and-so), ask you to give me this third nail so that I may drive it into the heart of (So-and-so).

so that you remember the commitment you made to me, renew your love for me, overcome the seductions and illusions you are going through and choose to maintain the sacred bonds of marriage you established with me.

May (So and So) freely choose to be by my side, if it is the will of God our Father.

O Saint Helena, teach me to accept the will of God, for He knows what is best for me, and before loving (So-and-so), I love God above all things and I love myself, and I know that "all things work together for good to them that love God", as the Holy Word in Romans tells us.

Saint Helena, pray for me, pray for us, that our marriage may be protected, strengthened and kept in the blood of Christ and in imitation of the Holy Family of Nazareth, Joseph, Mary and Jesus.

By the power of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and through the intercession of Saint Helena and our Guardian Angels, I protect our marriage. I seal my heart with the love of God and self-love. I encircle the soul, mind, heart and body of (So-and-So), so that he may be free from all demonic influences, witchcraft, evil desires and sin; may he overcome all seduction, illusion, mental or spiritual disturbance.

Make, Lord, that he opens his heart with me in a healthy and balanced dialogue and seeks to renew his promises that he once made to me.

Saint Helena, who were Empress of Rome, may I walk with my head held high, fight for love, but know how to love myself and God above all else. Nothing and no one will stop me from loving Our Lord Jesus Christ and following his commandments. Amen!
