Background:

In 2014 the marzcity team set out on a journey that saw them arrive at a phenomenon that would later become the utopia of holistic human interaction in the digital age.

On 10th February 2017, marzcity was launched to the world

Joining marzcity:

Marzcity being a hybrid application that runs through web and native channels, one can login online through the web browser or natively through the phone app.

The Log-in process is then completed by one's phone number.

The application consists of several modules including;

* Chat

* Stream

* Gifts

* Marz(business categories)

* Accountant

CHAT:

So far this is one of the highest quality chat interfaces. The chat room is private, meant for intimacy and absolute close-up chats.

Properties of this chat

• Chatting is private to a single person or to a particular chat group

• Gifts can be sent

• Gift requests can be made

• Moments can be shared through photos and videos

• Chat groups

• Sharing receipts

• People can add in other contacts from other social media platforms such as google and facebook by signing in to their particular accounts

STREAM

• This part shows what's in the news feed.

• Stream shows the different locations of people at certain business premises such as hotels, cafes restaurants

supermarkets hangouts and many more as long as they activate their GPS

• The stream allows users to recommend certain business premises, services and products

• Provides exposure to the people as they get to know the new business trending on the media

• Show the nearest business around you

• The stream keeps people who are using the application in touch. ‘Knowing where the party is at’. Events and

other social gatherings

• People can request for gifts and services and send them by dragging and dropping the contact icon on a

particular stream and choosing who to buy it for.

GIFTS BASKET:

• Manages all orders made on the app

• Buy and send products or product receipts

• Sends requests for particular products to your contacts

• Shows the history, redeemed receipts and the receipts that haven’t been redeemed yet

Buying process:

Shopping list is posted in this gift box if one wants to shop from a certain business premise.

This can entail up to any number of goods within the allowable sum provided by a mobile money platform.

Then after the shopping list is approved on the other end of the seller, you click the buy option.

You will be asked to feed in your mobile money account and initiate the transfer of funds to the account of the business owner

ACCOUNTANT:

• Keeps the seller alert on who has visited his shop online

• Aids in approving or cancelling particular goods as the shopping list is being made in real time

• Keeps history of redeemed receipts and un redeemed receipts

• The seller gets to monitor how much money is being made by the business

MARZ:

• Registration of business

• shows the products services provided by the particular business

• Shows address and business profile of the businesses affiliated to marzcity

USER INTERFACE:

• Marzcity has top of the art user interface. The chat stream marz and accountant options are all intertwined.

• There is no BACK button but swipe to the right takes you to the previous page

• There is no push button but a pan upwards in chat to post a comment

• There no attachment button the user drags and drops the attachment icon to select the media they wish to

attach

• There is no push for comments page but the user pans to the left to push the text

• One can customize the arrangement of icons and pages on the application such as instead of beginning with

the stream, one can begin with the chat page and this reduces the data volume being used.
