HOW IT WORKS

1. Open MaskID and pick an ID photo, or tap Share on any ID image in Gallery, WhatsApp or Files and choose MaskID.

2. Pick the purpose: Hotel, SIM, Courier, Rent, KYC, Gym.

3. MaskID finds the ID number, blurs the sensitive digits and stamps a diagonal watermark with the purpose and today's date.

4. Re-share through the normal Android share sheet. Done.

AADHAAR AND PAN MASKING (INDIA)

MaskID gives you one-tap Aadhaar masking that runs 100% on your device. Aadhaar masking keeps the last 4 digits visible and blurs the first 8 so you can prove identity without handing over the full UID. PAN masking blurs the leading 5 characters of your PAN so a shopkeeper can verify the format without keeping your raw PAN on file. Driving Licence and Voter ID (EPIC) are masked the same way.
