Maternal Mortality Study

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), in collaboration with the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC), and with financial and technical assistance from development partners (UNFPA, UNICEF, GDC (GIZ), USAID, and UKaid- NHSSP), is undertaking the Nepal Maternal Mortality Study following Census 2021 (MMSC 2021) to confirm the cause of death of women of reproductive age and consequently, determine the true number of maternal deaths.

This mobile application, exclusive used by health workers or designated officials, will support in digitizing the notification of the reported deaths and its confirmation following verbal autopsy.
