Mati

Mati is a ritual app for the evil eye — the heavy gaze that lands on you when someone looked a little too closely.

Not an atmosphere, not a filter. A real diagnosis, then the xematiasma — the way yiayia does it, in order, in her voice.

The diagnosis

Six questions, under a minute. It reads the signs — your sleep, your mood, small mishaps, the compliments you got. The result comes quietly: clear, lightly touched, or matiasméno.

The xematiasma

A six-scene ritual with oil, water, and prayer. Guided step by step, in a yiayia's voice asking: "How do you feel?"

Aftercare

After the ritual, Mati stays with you for 24 hours. A small blessing at night, a "good morning, how's your head?" in the morning.

Name days

It remembers the feast days of your name and the names you love — with the saint of the day and a short prayer.

Language

Greek by default. English available in settings.

Heritage

Mainland, Cretan, Cypriot, or diaspora — each has its own colour in the ritual.

Privacy

Your name, birthday, journal — they stay on your phone. Delete the app, and they go with it.
