MCA PU

MCA (Masters in Computer Applications) is the most prestigious course of Patna University. The course was started in the Department of Statistics, in the year 2010 under the Directorship of the Head of Department of Statistics, Prof.(Dr.)Arun Kumar Sinha. Prof.(Dr.) Rama Shanker Mishra was assigned as the Co-ordinator of the course. The course was started in Department of statistics, Patna University because the infrastructure required was available there.

MCA Course has intake of 45 students per year. The duration of the course is of 3 years and it is divided in 6 semesters. Deptt. Of statistics is well equipped with infrastructure and it has 2 fully Air-Conditioned computer Lab and each with the internet facility. The MCA is going to have a smart class with all the modern facilities including LCD Projector, Video Conferencing, and Interactive Boards etc.
