* Monitoring of all services from single point was difficult.
* Reporting all the issues to the concern vendors and higher officers was difficult.
* Attendance management of sanitation workers scattered in all sectors was difficult.
* It was difficult to analyse no. of trips of water tankers & garbage tractors needed as per the increase in no. of devotees
* Unable to maintain the momentum of the restoration of the facilities by the vendors.
* Unable to monitor the accountability of officials concerned.
Implementation
* Madaram 2020 Monitory App was designed with multiple types of login like Inspection Officer, Sector Magistrate, Department Head, Vendor and Vendor supervisor/Driver
* Inspection officers are responsible to instantaneously logging the issues in the mobile app while inspecting the facilities
* A notification is sent to the Sector Magistrate, Department Head, Vendor saying an issue is logged.
* Vendor is responsible for the restoration of the service.
* Sector Magistrate is responsible to escalate if the service is not restored in time
* Vendor Supervisor is responsible for the attendance of sanitation staff
* Drivers are responsible to log water tanker/garbage tractor trips
* Review by Honorable Collector & District Magistrates of findings on live basis and take appropriate actions.
Background
Medaram is a village in Warangal district, Telangana, India. A popular religious congregation or Jatara called "Samakka Sarakka" jatara takes place for three days biennially in this village. Sammakka-Sarakka Jatara held by forest dwelling Koya tribe of Telangana and surrounding States, is the biggest Tribal festival in Asia which is attended by two crore people on an average.
