MediaMute

Have you ever been in a situation where you're on your phone in a quite environment and you play that YouTube or Facebook video only to find that your volume is all the way up and now everyone is staring at you? Yeah - I've been there too.

MediaMute will automatically and continuously mute your audio while the app is running. Simply open the app, tap the speaker, and your audio will stay muted. Media Mute also knows when audio is playing and will temporarily stop muting until you're done. This means that you can play the video, slightly up the volume to an acceptable level, and continue to watch it. When you're done, Media Mute will mute your audio once again and return to muting status.

There's also a notification to let you know when Media Mute is running. To turn the app off again, just open it up and tap the speaker again.
