The Importance of Memorizing the Quran

1. The Best Humans

In a hadith narrated by Ahmad, Rasulullah SAW said "It was said to the owner (memorizers) of the Qur'an that he would be ordered to read it and get up! Read it as you read in the world! Then indeed your position is at the end of the verse you read."

4. Gaining Intercession

Becoming a memorizer of the Qur'an also gives virtue in the hereafter. Because, in a hadith narrated by Muslim, the Messenger of Allah said that the Qur'an can provide intercession or help to its owner.

"Read Al-Quran, then in fact it will come on the Day of Resurrection later as a giver of intercession to its owner. Read az-Zarawain (two letters of light) namely Al-Baqarah and Ali Imran because both will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds or like two rays of sunshine or like two birds that spread their wings (continued with one another), both of them will be defenders for those who diligently read the two letters. Read ula Surah Al-Baqarah. Taking the letter is a blessing and leaving it will have regrets. Sorcerers can't possibly memorize it."
