📢 Accessibility Service Disclosure

MicGuard uses the AccessibilityService API to monitor microphone access events and display real-time alerts when your microphone becomes active.

This access is required because Android does not provide a public API for detecting microphone usage directly.

MicGuard does not use this service to read user data, collect personal information, perform screen interactions, or record audio.

The AccessibilityService is used strictly to detect microphone state changes in support of the app’s core privacy feature.

🚫 Important Limitations (Please Read):

Due to Android system restrictions, this app cannot identify which specific app is using the microphone. It only notifies when the mic becomes active.
