The aim of the application is to support patients, enable them to monitor their own condition, adhere to treatment or provide more accurate information to the attending physician. The application helps to adjust the lifestyle and ultimately to reduce the number of migraine attacks.

The locked part is accessible only to patients. These users have the option of keeping an application diary to remind them to take the medicine.

The public part of the application contains detailed information about migraines, glossary, patient diary, calendar, regime measures, tips and tricks for everyday life, useful links and other practical information. The application also includes a mini-cyclopedia, which explains the most common terms for a deeper understanding of the disease.

An excellent helper is the logbook, which allows you to record seizures and their triggers or keep records of your own events, including reminders of doctor's visits. Another benefit is the ability to monitor developments over time and also analyze possible triggers, drugs used or days at risk.

Migraine Compass also allows you to back up your data. This allows the user to easily transfer the saved entries to a new phone. You must have Google Drive backup enabled in your phone's settings to use this feature. When switching to a new phone, the installed applications, including the Migrena Compass application and saved records, can then be easily restored in the initial settings of the phone.
