MilCalc is the field tool built for military personnel, topographic technicians, and anyone working with MGRS coordinates and NATO mils. Accurate calculations, clean interface, fully offline — no network dependency to operate.

━━━ TOPOGRAPHIC CALCULATIONS ━━━

MGRS + NATO mils tools (WGS84):

• Forward radiation — From a known point, a bearing, and a distance, compute point B.

• Inverse radiation — From point B and a bearing (with +3200 mil convention), recover point A.

• Bearing between two points — Distance and bearing between two MGRS coordinates.

• Intersection — Determine point C from two known points and measured bearings.

• Triangulation (trilateration) — Compute MGRS coordinates of an unknown point from three known points and three distances.

MGRS input is split into dedicated fields (grid square, easting, northing) — designed for mobile use in the field.

━━━ SPECIALISED CALCULATIONS ━━━

• FMD (Front = Mil × Distance) — Front / mils / distance relationship with 0.9817 correction factor.

• DMR (Reported Magnetic Declination) — Estimates current zero range from a reference value, dates, and local magnetic drift (°/year).

• Laser cone — Visualises laser acquisition zones based on LTL bearing, with optimal, avoid, and forbidden zone indicators.

• Dispersion rectangle — Dispersion diagram (99%, 92%, 67%, 25%) from observation bearing, GTL, EPP, and EPD inputs.
