MindVersity

MindVersity is an organization that strives to bridge the gaps between access to mental health resources and BIPOC students nationwide. We provide safe-spaces for POC to talk about mental health amongst each other in an effort to educate, inform, gather, discuss, initiate, and create! MindVersity has helped create supportive communities for individuals who are overcoming difficulties and allows individuals (peers) to chat with peer advocates with full confidentiality!

PRIVACY SETTINGS

MindVersity doesn’t store passwords. Security platforms provided by Google are put in place to protect users from security breaches and information leaks.

CHAT

Chat with a peer seamlessly through MindVersity with the integration of Google Hangouts!

FILTERS

Users are easily able to connect with a peer advocate by filtering to find advocates with similar experiences.

RATING SYSTEM

Do you think a peer advocate did great?! Not so great? Leave a rating for them in the app to let other users know!

CONFIDENTIALITY

All conversations between peers and peer advocates are completely confidential between users and the advocate.

EASE OF USE

The only criteria for a user to chat are:

1) be a U.S. college student and

2) have/create a Gmail account!
